The Green Gram Dosa is an ideal breakfast option for diabetics as it provides a good amout of protein, fibre and moderate amount of carbohydrates. The glycemic index is low. As it is soaked overnight it is easier digest and provides a better source of vitamin c.
Ingredients:
- Green gram – 1 cup
- Red chillies – 4 no
- Garlic – 5 cloves
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Coriander leaves
- Hing – 1 pinch
- Small onions – 6 no
- Salt to taste
Method:
Soak the green gram overnight and grind all the remaining ingredients along with it to form a smooth dosa batter. Heat a dosa thava and make dosas immediately after grinding. Serve hot.</div>
